Essential Functions

Collaborate with program faculty to develop comprehensive lab scenarios

Provide direct student mentorship through:

Regular individual and group meetings

Academic performance advising

Personalized feedback and support

Maintain comprehensive and confidential student performance records

Coordinate closely with instructional leadership to:

Communicate student learning needs

Ensure program and course objectives are met

Demonstrate advanced clinical skills by:

Maintaining expertise in dental equipment and techniques

Participating in faculty development and professional organizations

Support program administration through:

Grading assignments
-
Preparing instructional materials

Managing clinical supply inventories

Completing module documentation

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Education
-
Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant program
-
OR Four years of equivalent job-related training and experience
Credentials
-
Certified/Registered Dental Assistant (CDA/RDA)

OR Licensed Dentist
-
Current professional licensing
-
State-approved dental assisting program credentials
Professional Skills

Minimum three years practical dental assisting experience

Proficient in four-handed and six-handed dentistry principles

Strong verbal and written communication

Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
Preferred Qualifications

Advanced dental certification
