The Financial Aid Supervisor oversees the campus team members responsible for the financial aid program for students in accordance with federal guidelines. Accountable for directing daily operations of campus team, ensuring that service levels, training, development, and compliance meet company and regulatory standards. This position works under the direction of the Regional Financial Services Manager and the direct supervision of the Campus Director.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Coach and develop a student-centered finance team into top performers; train, mentor, and build campus
  • Analyze the campus financial services dashboard to monitor the timeliness and accuracy of student financing, which will foster increased productivity and premier customer service.
  • Evaluate team and process effectiveness, ensuring attention to improvements, maintenance, and
  • Collaborate and coordinate functional corporate roles to enhance operational efficiency and team effectiveness through innovation, creativity, and intelligent data utilization.
  • Remain current on Title IV, state, accreditation, agency, veteran regulations, and institutional
  • Ensure the financial service team complies with all federal, state, accreditation, and institutional guidelines/regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions team to develop or refine students’ transition between the teams to ensure a seamless student experience and best-in-class customer service.
  • Works closely with all campus functional areas, especially the Student Services team and Academic Program Directors, to provide students with support and a positive student experience.
  • Advises greater campus leadership team on possible financial aid implications from proposed changes/updates to academic/instructional
  • Coordinate visits with corporate functional roles or auditors to review student
  • Assists team members with any student financial services workflow component as
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s degree in a related Administrative, Business, Liberal Arts, or Social Sciences discipline from a regionally or nationally accredited institution recognized by the S. Department of Education (USDE).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers
  • Two to five (2-5) years of experience with Title IV programs
  • Must be able to maintain access to the Department of Education (DOE)
  • Two+ years of supervisory experience
  • Experience providing outstanding customer service by fostering trust and growing customer satisfaction
  • Ten-key calculator skills
  • Solid computer and multi-tasking skills
  • Any equivalent combination of education or experience that meets the minimum requirements.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
