We are seeking a Clinical Affairs Manager to drive our students' success in Colorado or Texas. A Day in the Life of a Clinical Affairs Manager
1. Partnership Development & Management

Cultivate and grow a network of clinical education and externship sites.

Serve as the primary liaison between PMI and healthcare employers in your region.

Negotiate and manage clinical affiliation agreements to ensure they meet program needs and compliance standards.

Develop a "prevention plan" to mitigate placement loss due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., partner gaps or staffing changes).
2. Student & Academic Support

Collaborate with Program Directors and Deans to ensure students have access to quality clinical experiences.

Facilitate the use of the PMI alumni network to create new placement opportunities for current students.

Assist in developing training for faculty and students regarding clinical education best practices.
3. Community Engagement & Representation

Act as the face of PMI at local off-campus events, including graduation ceremonies, job fairs, and workforce development initiatives.

Build new community partnerships within the healthcare industry to expand PMI’s regional footprint.

This remote position requires regular travel to campuses, clinical sites, and corporate offices.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration, Clinical Sciences, Education, or a related field.

Experience: At least one (1) year of direct experience building clinical education partnerships or externship sites.

Skills: Proven experience with contract negotiations and managing affiliation agreements.

Residency: Must reside within 45 miles of a Pima Medical Institute campus or corporate office (in Colorado or Texas).
