 Campus: Pima Medical Institute - Aurora, CO
 Schedule: Part-Time, 25 hours per week | Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
 Hourly Rate: $22.88 – $27.46

We are seeking a passionate Medical Assistant to join our campus as a part-time instructor. This is your opportunity to transition from patient care to student mentorship in a structured, rewarding teaching role within the Pima community.

Your Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles.

  • Evaluate student work and provide timely, constructive feedback.

  • Mentor and advise students, supporting their academic and professional growth.

  • Supervise and guide students during their externship experiences.

  • Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and participate in ongoing professional development.

  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure a safe, productive learning environment.

  • Collaborate with campus staff to support student recruitment, placement, and success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR three (3) years of relevant training and experience.

  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of full-time, practical experience as a Medical Assistant.

  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), video-conferencing tools, and general computer applications.

  • Certification: Current CMA or RMA certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior classroom teaching or formal training experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute effective, engaging learning experiences.
