SUMMARY

Coordinate the admissions process to ensure enrollment in career programs while providing ongoing advisement to prospective students.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with the Campus Director and Corporate Director of Admissions to meet new student targets.

  • Keep the Corporate Director of Admissions informed of relevant activities and issues.

  • Ensure compliance with PMI standards, as well as federal, state, and accreditation requirements.

  • Initiate proactive outreach to prospective students via various communication channels.

  • Maintain regular contact with applicants, offering exceptional guidance from inquiry to enrollment.

  • Assist applicants in navigating the admissions process and selecting their educational pathway.

  • Conduct interviews with prospective students following established guidelines.

  • Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and web inquiries.

  • Provide detailed explanations of academic programs, enrollment procedures, and course offerings.

  • Track key performance indicators such as student contacts, interviews, and application processing.

  • Update applicant information in the database and follow up to ensure progress.

  • Organize and lead campus tours.

  • Notify prospective students about upcoming class openings.

  • Offer advisement on available programs and resolve applicant concerns as needed.

  • Adhere to PMI’s admissions policies, ensuring all communication is accurate and non-misleading.

  • Coordinate assessment tests, review results, and determine student eligibility.

  • Work closely with the Financial Aid team to establish student eligibility and enrollment timelines.

  • Analyze enrollment trends, applicant follow-ups, and marketing data.

  • Set clear expectations for applicants and ensure seamless communication between departments.

  • Represent PMI at career fairs and high school visits to recruit prospective students.

  • Participate in evening and weekend shifts as needed.

  • Uphold high ethical standards aligned with PMI, the Department of Education, accreditation agencies, and regulatory bodies.

  • Manage time effectively to consistently achieve monthly enrollment goals.

  • Foster positive relationships across teams and departments.

  • Adapt to innovation and change in a fast-paced environment while adjusting priorities as needed.

  • Accept coaching and feedback with enthusiasm and a goal-oriented mindset.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

Mental Tasks: Read, comprehend, communicate, and execute functions based on written and verbal instructions. Physical Tasks: Distinguish colors, sort and file documents, write, hear within a normal range, and use manual dexterity. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. and sit at a desk or computer for six hours per day.

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT

Use office equipment such as phones, copiers, printers, fax machines, calculators, typewriters, postage meters, credit card machines, and computers. Must be able to commute between campuses.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Office environment with exposure to noise. Regular interactions with employees, students, and the public.

None.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.

  • Required: Three years of experience in education sales, admissions, and recruitment.

  • Private, proprietary school experience preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of problem-solving, conflict resolution, and customer satisfaction strategies.

  • Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships.

  • Equivalent combinations of training, education, or experience that meet these qualifications are acceptable.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hiring Salary Range: $70,940–$88,670 (based on experience and qualifications).
