Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and instruct students during clinical externships, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
- Coordinate clinical education experiences tailored to individual student needs.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and adhere to institutional policies.
- Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and clinical site staff to address concerns and foster positive relationships.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in respiratory therapy.
What You Bring:
Education & Credentials:
- Associate degree (or higher) from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program OR
- 4+ years of combined job-related training and experience for non-graduates of accredited programs.
- Required Licensure: Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential and state RCP (Respiratory Care Practitioner) license.
Experience & Skills:
- 3+ years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- 1+ year of teaching or precepting experience in an accredited program (preferred).
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
