SUMMARY The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Instructor is responsible for instructing and implementing the EMS program to educate students according to curriculum standards and objectives. This role includes providing oversight to ensure the quality and integrity of the EMS program at our Las Vegas campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach EMS curriculum, including foundational courses (math, anatomy, medical terminology, etc.).

  • Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on demonstrations.

  • Provide student support through mentorship, feedback, and retention efforts.

  • Monitor attendance, engage with at-risk students, and advise on academic progress.

  • Coordinate program activities such as guest speakers, site visits, and externships.

  • Ensure classroom safety and maintain program integrity.

  • Submit attendance reports and manage grading documentation.

  • Stay current with industry trends and participate in professional development.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree from a U.S.-accredited institution.

  • Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program (or equivalent training).

  • 3+ years of hands-on Paramedic experience.

  • EMS teaching experience preferred.

  • Current Paramedic certification/license (local, state, or federal).

  • Strong communication and instructional skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $28.19–$35.23 per hour.
