As the Nursing Clinical Director, you will coordinate and lead the clinical education and instruction of students in the Nursing program, preparing them to become compassionate, skilled, and confident healthcare professionals.

In partnership with the Program Director, this role encompasses a wide range of impactful responsibilities, including:

  • Clinical Education Leadership: Develop and oversee clinical site contracts, schedule clinical rotations, and manage skills lab hours to provide students with hands-on experience.

  • Resource Management: Maintain and ensure the currency of skills lab equipment inventory, supporting innovative and effective learning environments.

  • Curriculum Excellence: Collaborate on curriculum review to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.

  • Faculty Development: Lead faculty orientation, scheduling, mentoring, and coordination to foster an empowered, cohesive teaching team.

  • Direct Instruction: Inspire students by actively participating in classroom, skills lab, and clinical instruction, sharing your expertise and passion for nursing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education (USDE) or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
  • Three (3) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
  • One (1) years full-time teaching experience or administering a nursing education program leading to licensure preferred.
  • Professional nurse licensure that is active and in good standing. 
  • Current Arizona RN licenses (or multi-state privilege to practice in AZ) and any other certification or crednetial as required by local, state or federal laws to work in the field. 
  • Verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and other computer skills.
