About the Role: The Admissions Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the campus admissions team, ensuring exceptional experiences for prospective students and their families through professional administrative support and welcoming, informative interactions. This position is based at our Denver campus and offers an excellent opportunity to launch a career in higher education.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful relationships with prospective students and their families.

  • Provide informed advice about academic programs, opportunities, and requirements.

  • Lead engaging campus tours to showcase our vibrant community.

  • Execute student outreach initiatives through email, text, and phone communication.

  • Generate reports and support recruitment efforts using lead management systems.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of academic programs, admissions requirements, and policies.

  • Update and manage marketing and admissions materials as needed.

  • Attend regular team meetings to stay current on admissions developments.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Manual dexterity and normal hearing range.

  • Ability to file, sort, and operate standard office equipment.

  • Capacity to kneel, bend, stoop, and squat when necessary.

  • Ability to differentiate between colors for document/material review.

 

Work Environment

  • Professional indoor office setting.

  • Regular interaction with employees, students, and members of the public.

  • Familiarity with standard office equipment, including phones, computers, and printers.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

  • A detail-oriented approach with excellent time management abilities.

  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.

  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Preferred:

  • Two years of general office management experience.

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $19.62–$23.54 (based on experience and qualifications).
