Job Title: Vocational Nursing Instructor (Part-Time)
Location: El Paso, TX
Schedule: Part-Time, 24 hours per week
Compensation: $34.10 - $42.63 per hour
Summary:
Instruct students in the Vocational Nursing program in accordance with the curriculum standards and objectives. This role involves a variable teaching workload across classroom, lab, and clinical settings, with responsibilities adjusted based on enrollment, curriculum needs, and clinical site availability. All duties must be performed in compliance with college policies and the Texas Board of Nursing Rules and Regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging didactic, lab, and clinical instruction.

Prepare and implement lesson plans based on approved syllabi and course objectives.

Assist the Program Director in developing, evaluating, and updating the program of learning.

Participate in student admission, progression, and graduation processes.

Maintain accurate student records and provide academic counseling.

Manage and inventory skills lab equipment and supplies.

Supervise and evaluate student performance in classroom and clinical settings.

Orient and mentor new faculty members as needed.

Maintain positive, collaborative relationships with clinical site representatives.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or CHEA.

Three (3) years of occupational experience as a Registered Nurse providing direct patient care.

Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
