Join our Denver campus as a Student Services Coordinator, where you will serve as the primary advocate and support for our students. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in therapy, social work, or case management who is skilled at holistic assessment, proactive intervention, and resource navigation. You will be essential in fostering student retention, well-being, and achievement by addressing academic, personal, and systemic barriers.

Location: Denver Campus (On-Site)
 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with one late evening per week, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
 Annual Salary Range: $64,490 - $80,610
 Reports To: Campus Director

Join our Denver campus as a Student Services Coordinator, where you will serve as the primary advocate and support for our students. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in therapy, social work, or case management who is skilled at holistic assessment, proactive intervention, and resource navigation. You will be essential in fostering student retention, well-being, and achievement by addressing academic, personal, and systemic barriers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Case Management & Advising: Proactively monitor student attendance and academic progress. Provide one-on-one advising to guide students through challenges, develop success plans, and connect them with internal and community resources.

  • Crisis Intervention & Support: Serve as a first point of contact for students facing personal, behavioral, or academic crises. Employ de-escalation techniques and professional judgment to manage sensitive situations, including leaves of absence, withdrawals, and disciplinary actions.

  • Resource Coordination & Advocacy: Act as a liaison between students and campus departments (Financial Aid, Admissions, Career Services) to resolve issues and advocate for student needs. Maintain knowledge of and referrals to external support services.

  • Program Development & Community Building: Plan and execute student engagement activities, orientation programs, recognition events, and graduation ceremonies to promote a positive and inclusive campus culture.

  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure accurate tracking of student interactions and status changes. Serve as a knowledgeable resource on institutional policies, procedures, and accreditation requirements.

Who We Are Looking For (Required Qualifications):

  • A minimum of three (3) years of direct experience in a student-facing support role. This experience could come from:

    • Higher Education: Academic Advising, TRIO Programs, Disability Services, or Student Affairs.

    • Social Services/Youth Development: Case Management, Social Work, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or Youth Advocacy.

  • Proven skills in active listening, motivational interviewing, crisis management, and holistic assessment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse student population.

  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and student database systems.

  • High school diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Ideal Candidate (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Professional experience as a Behavioral Therapist, School Counselor, Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Mental Health Counselor, or Case Manager.

  • Experience working with non-traditional, first-generation, or at-risk student populations.

  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

  • Supervisory or leadership experience.

Work Environment:
