Location: PMI College - Aurora, Colorado Campus
Type: Full-Time
Hiring Pay Range: $22.88 - $27.46 per hour + Comprehensive Benefits

At PMI’s Aurora campus, you’ll play a vital role in helping Colorado students achieve their career dreams through accessible financial aid solutions. Join our team as a Student Finance Officer and empower students to navigate funding options with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial needs assessments for prospective and current students (Years 1-3)

  • Guide students through FAFSA, VA benefits, and private payment plans with personalized support

  • Maintain 100% compliant student files for Title IV, VA, and state funding programs

  • Process ISIR verifications, Pell/SEOG disbursements, and loan documentation

  • Resolve account balances by establishing repayment plans with former students

  • Collaborate with Admissions to schedule financial aid appointments

  • Audit files for upcoming starts to ensure audit-ready documentation

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of financial aid experience (Title IV expertise preferred)

  • Proven ability to interpret DOE regulations and VA benefits

  • Tech proficiency: Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, video conferencing, and DOE systems

  • Exceptional customer service and ethical decision-making skills

Nice-to-Have:

  • Associate degree from a CHEA-accredited institution

  • Experience with Colorado state financial aid programs
