The Student Affairs Specialist is a support role, ensuring compliance in the various areas of Student Affairs (Career Services, Student Services, and/or Registrar Services). This role provides critical administrative, training, and operational support to our Student Affairs leaders. Assisting in maintaining accurate data for audits, developing training materials, and providing needed campus support, this position requires strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and a commitment to ensuring compliance and effective service delivery.

30 hours per week

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide administrative support to the Student Affairs Team.
  • Support any company-wide initiatives of the company Executive Team.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations set forth by the accrediting agencies (ABHES and programmatic).
  • Provide virtual support for campus-facing CS, SS, or RS teams, including covering vacancies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and recommend process improvements for the supported Student Affairs operation.
  • Support onboarding and training for new Student Affairs employees.
  • Design, implement, and update Student Affairs training programs.
  • Provide other Student Affairs-facing support when campuses are short-staffed.
  • Primary duties involve the exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance to student affairs operations.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Associate's degree from an institution accredited by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
  •  Minimum three (3) years of Student Affairs experience.
  • Demonstrated networking experience, including building professional relationships with employers, community partners, or stakeholders to support job placement initiatives.
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including fluency with CRM systems, databases, and reporting tools.
  •  Any equivalent combination of training, education, or experience that meets the minimum qualifications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Bachelor's Degree from an institution accredited by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
  •  Reside within 25 miles of an assigned campus location to ensure timely on-site support.
