A Day in the Life of an Admissions Representative
Student Recruitment & Proactive Outreach

Engagement: Proactively recruit prospective students through inbound/outbound calls, emails, and texts.

Community Presence: Represent PMI at El Paso area job fairs, career fairs, and high school visits to build a robust applicant pipeline.

Lead Management: Initiate contact with leads from marketing campaigns to provide immediate guidance and program information.
Applicant Advising & Process Management

Consultative Interviewing: Conduct in-depth interviews to determine a student's fit for specific academic programs and career goals.

Expert Guidance: Explain program details, admissions requirements, and the enrollment process, ensuring all inquiries are handled with clarity.

The Student Journey: Manage the applicant experience from initial contact through the first day of class, ensuring a seamless and supportive transition.

Departmental Synergy: Facilitate communication between Financial Aid and Student Services to ensure student eligibility and readiness.
Operational Excellence & Compliance

Data Integrity: Utilize the CRM database to input applicant information and update statuses accurately and promptly.

Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze recruitment statistics (enrollments, starts, contacts) to consistently meet or exceed monthly goals.

Strict Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all PMI standards, federal/state laws, and accreditation requirements (e.g., Department of Education).
Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: Three (3) years of education sales, admissions, or recruitment experience. (Private, proprietary school experience is a plus).

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution.

Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and sustain trusting professional relationships.

Equivalency: An equivalent combination of training, education, or experience that meets the minimum qualifications will be considered.
