Pay Range: $31.00 – $38.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Coordination: Oversee student externships and ensure students are exposed to diverse and appropriate clinical experiences.

• Student Supervision: Monitor student attendance at clinical sites and evaluate their hands-on performance against program standards.

• Skill Instruction: Reinforce the specific techniques and methods taught in the program, ensuring students apply theory to real-world patient care.

• Site Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between the campus and hospital-site administrators, resolving any clinical concerns professionally.

• Compliance: Ensure all student activities adhere to both Pima Medical Institute policies and the specific regulations of the clinical facility.

Minimum Requirements

• Credentials: Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) New Mexico state license.

• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in hospital or clinical Respiratory Therapy.

• Education: Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (or four years of verified equivalent training).

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for student tracking and reporting.

Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $31.00 – $38.75 per hour.
