Location: Pima Medical Institute - Colorado Campus | On-Site

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $85,835 - $107,290

Pima Medical Institute is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Clinical Director for our Practical Nursing program. In this role, you will oversee the clinical education of PN students, ensuring they receive the hands-on experience and guidance needed to become skilled, practice-ready nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the program of learning in conjunction with the Program Director.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the transfer of learning objectives from the classroom to clinical sites.
  • Schedule class, clinical, skills, and faculty hours for the most effective learning experience.
  • Supervise students across all clinical experiences and coordinate student activities.
  • Promote new clinical sites and evaluate existing ones.
  • Maintain the Skills Laboratory, including upkeep, inventory, and recommendations for new equipment and software.
  • Plan, monitor, and evaluate instruction provided by ANIP and clinical faculty.
  • Orient and mentor new faculty.
  • Interview and counsel program applicants in conjunction with the Program Director.
  • Develop and maintain standards for student admission, progression, and graduation.
  • Maintain student records and provide personal and academic counseling.
  • Provide curriculum review and utilize campus and corporate reporting systems appropriately.
  • Participate in community service projects and presentations as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado, plus any other credential required by state or federal law.
  • Master's degree in Nursing required. Candidates actively working toward a Master's degree from a nationally accredited Nursing Education Program will be considered.
  • Graduation from a Nursing Education Program holding national nursing accreditation.
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time (or equivalent) professional nursing clinical experience.
