Essential Functions:

  • Design, implement, and evaluate daily lesson plans, including scheduled activities and semester materials.

  • Tailor instruction to meet specific student needs while adhering to the established curriculum. Teach x-ray lab techniques and radiology procedures.

  • Monitor student attendance and collaborate with the Associate Director regarding consecutive absences. Submit weekly attendance reports to the office management department.

  • Assess student success rates and implement strategies to reduce withdrawals while maintaining an 80% success rate for all classes. Provide guidance and encouragement to students.

  • Maintain student grades according to policy and prepare final grades at semester end for record updates.

  • Evaluate student performance in academics, curriculum activities, and clinical settings. Identify and address learning needs.

  • Conduct lectures, labs, and practical demonstrations for individual and group instruction.

  • Assist and advise students on Radiography program curriculum.

  • Coordinate externships for Radiography students, as needed.

  • Participate in accreditation/assessment tasks as assigned by the Program Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an institution accredited by a USDE-recognized body.

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program recognized by USDE or CHEA.

  • Three (3) years of clinical diagnostic radiography experience.

  • Preferred: One (1) year of documented teaching experience in a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.

  • Proficient in course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.

  • ARRT registration in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent (e.g., unrestricted state license).

  • Meets academic and professional qualifications for teaching assignments.

  • Holds required licenses or certifications in Radiologic Technology per local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $31-$38.75 per hour.
