 Schedule: Part-Time, 20 hours/week (Day Shift)

In this role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to educate and inspire students, preparing them for successful careers as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). Key Responsibilities:

As an OTA Instructor, you will be essential to our students' journey, with duties including:

Instruction & Curriculum Delivery

  • Develop, prepare, and deliver engaging daily lesson plans, lectures, and hands-on lab demonstrations that align with program objectives and accreditation standards.

  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure student comprehension.

Student Support & Mentorship

  • Actively monitor student academic performance and attendance, providing proactive intervention and support to foster success.

  • Serve as an academic advisor and mentor, guiding students through their OTA curriculum and supporting their professional development.

Assessment & Program Development

  • Evaluate student progress through assignments, practical skills assessments, and examinations, maintaining accurate academic records.

  • Contribute to the growth and quality of the OTA program by assisting with curriculum development, externship coordination, and participation in campus committees and events.

What You Bring (Qualifications):

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program.

  • A current, unrestricted license or credential to practice as an OT or OTA in the state of Colorado.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of professional clinical experience in occupational therapy.

  • Proven expertise in your subject area and a demonstrated commitment to student success.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear instruction and feedback.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
