ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Delivery of classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction to students.
- Provides an orientation of the students to each clinical facility before beginning the clinical experience.
- Ensures that each student is identified as a student in a manner easily recognizable to Clients, family members, visitors, and staff.
- Plans for classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences.
- Completes a skills checklist demonstrating satisfactory performance of each student's required skills.
- Completes and maintains student records such as attendance, test scores, etc.
- Ensures that students do not perform any services for which they have not been trained and have been found proficient.
- The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with graduation from an accredited program (or equivalent experience/training).

Experience:

3+ years of teaching/occupational experience in the field OR

4+ years of job-related training/experience (if not from an accredited program).

Current license/certification as required by law (unless teaching non-core subjects).

Teaching Adults: Completed a teaching course or have relevant experience teaching/supervising nurse aides.

Skills: Strong verbal/written communication and proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and general computer skills.
COMPENSATION
- Hiring Range: $28.19-$35.23 per hour
