Key Leadership Responsibilities:

Oversee program curriculum implementation, ensuring adherence to standards and objectives.

Lead Advisory Board Meetings, communicating externship feedback, student progress, and community outcomes to leadership.

Conduct externship site visits (qualifications + midpoint evaluations) and supervise students in collaboration with Career Services.

Mentor new faculty, assist with onboarding, and provide ongoing team support.

Review/update curriculum, textbooks, and materials, making recommendations for improvements.

Track certification pass rates and contribute to the annual Program Effectiveness Plan (PEP).

Ensure lab safety/compliance and maintain proper student-to-instructor ratios.
Teaching & Student Engagement:

Design/deliver dynamic lesson plans using varied teaching techniques for diverse learning styles.

Evaluate/grade student work within 72 hours and provide actionable feedback.

Address academic/behavioral concerns promptly, documenting and escalating issues as needed.

Host office hours, coordinate guest speakers, and organize field trips to healthcare facilities.

Participate in faculty development, graduations, and accreditation-related activities.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree (accredited program) + graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (or 3+ years of equivalent training/experience).

3+ years of hands-on healthcare experience (including 40+ hours in ambulatory care).

Classroom teaching experience.

Active CMA/RMA certification (unencumbered) + any required state licensure.
Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of teaching experience in Medical Assisting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, video-conferencing tools, and LMS platforms.
