Schedule: Afternoon Shifts (Typical hours fall between 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
Hiring Range: $22.88 – $27.46 per hour
Position Overview
The Medical Assistant Front Office Instructor is responsible for delivering the administrative portion of the Medical Assistant curriculum. This part-time role focuses on teaching students the clerical and management functions required to operate a medical office effectively, with a specific emphasis on afternoon instruction and lab supervision.

Essential Functions

Instructional Delivery: Implement and evaluate daily lesson plans during afternoon sessions, providing scheduled activities and module materials.

Curriculum Planning: Plan instruction to achieve specific objectives based on student needs and the established Pima Medical Institute curriculum.

Performance Evaluation: Assess student achievements in curriculum and activities; provide necessary provisions to meet individual learning needs.

Administrative Oversight: Maintain accurate student attendance records and prepare lectures and practical demonstrations for classroom and individual instruction.

Professional Engagement: Coordinate guest speakers, community service field trips, and student visits to clinics and medical offices.

Student Safety: Monitor students in the classroom and ensure all safety precautions and institutional policies are adhered to.
Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Healthcare Administration program recognized by USDE or CHEA.

Note: Candidates who are not graduates of an accredited program must have a minimum of four (4) years of job-related training and experience.

Experience: Three (3) years of practical occupational experience in Healthcare Administration.

Licensure: Current license, certification, or other designation required by local, state, or federal laws to work in the Healthcare Administration field.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and general computer operations.
