Lead Pharmacy Technician Instructor (Licensed) 

Location: Tucson Campus

Pay Range: $25.62 – $32.03 / hour

To be considered for this leadership role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Associate degree from an accredited institution (USDE or CHEA recognized).
  • Graduate of an ASHP/ACPE-accredited pharmacy technician program (or equivalent accredited specialty program).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of occupational experience in pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist.
  • Must be a Licensed Pharmacist or a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in good standing.
  • Current membership in at least one national and one state pharmacy organization.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Three (3) years of prior teaching experience in the subject field is preferred.

Key Leadership & Instructional Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Advisory Board Meetings and lead programmatic faculty meetings to ensure high standards for student outcomes and community satisfaction.
  • Review textbooks and course materials; assist with the orientation and mentoring of new faculty members.
  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that appeal to different learning styles, ensuring students meet all clinical objectives.
  • Partner with Career Services to oversee student progress during clinical externships and maintain contact with site partners.
  • Manage supply inventory, track graduate certification pass rates, and participate in annual Program Effectiveness Plans (PEP).
