Key Responsibilities
Instructional Delivery & Classroom Management:

Course Facilitation: Deliver engaging lectures and coursework across foundational subjects (e.g., Algebra/Math Applications, Anatomy & Physiology, Communications, Intro to Psychology, Medical Terminology, and Medical Law & Ethics).

Diverse Learning Strategies: Design and adapt instructional methods to accommodate diverse adult learning styles and foster an inclusive classroom setting.

Curriculum Collaboration: Partner with Academic Program Directors to review course materials, enhance instructional quality, and ensure institutional alignment.
Student Success & Academic Support:

Retention Interventions: Provide targeted academic support and early interventions to help students maintain an 80%+ success rate.

Academic Referrals: Identify and refer students with course averages below 77% for additional campus tutoring and academic advising.

Attendance Tracking: Monitor daily attendance, maintaining proactive communication with Student Services regarding consecutive student absences.

Grade Administration: Grade student assignments promptly, submit official final grades, and maintain accurate, compliant academic records.
Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Biological Sciences, Communications, Psychology) from an accredited institution recognized by USDE or CHEA.

Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency and subject knowledge in the specific general education content areas taught.

Teaching Credential: Valid teaching credential (Secondary or Adult Education) preferred.

Teaching Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of classroom teaching experience preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
