Location: San Antonio, TX | Campus: On-Site

Type: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)

As the first point of contact for our San Antonio campus, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors while ensuring the front office runs smoothly and efficiently.

 

Essential Functions

  • Communication Management: Receive telephone calls, determine routing, transfer to appropriate personnel, and/or take accurate messages.
  • Visitor Relations: Greet visitors and assist them with their specific requests.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with typing, data entry, and filing or copying documents.
  • Lobby Standards: Ensure the lobby and reception area are presentable and professional.
  • Mail Logistics: Distribute all incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail for pickup.
  • Records Assistance: Send and receive transcripts for student files.
  • Event Coordination: Assist the Office Manager with school events such as graduation, new student orientation, and appreciation events.

 

Specific Weekly Schedule

This is a 40-hour-per-week position with a varied shift schedule to support campus operations:

  • Monday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Thursday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: One (1) year of experience as a receptionist.
  • Technical Skills: Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm and strong computer/word processing skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education/Training: Any equivalent combination of training, education, or experience that meets the minimum qualifications.
