Dental Hygiene Clinic Receptionist
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Schedule and confirm patient appointments.

Address clinic information inquiries both in person and over the telephone.

Adhere to HIPAA standards to maintain patient confidentiality and data protection.

Maintain accurate filing of records and update patient information as needed.

Manage and document accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Prepare bank deposit slips and ensure delivery to the designated person for deposit.

Understand and apply dental insurance procedures and policies.
-
Provide regular performance updates to the Program Director or Clinical Director.

Supervise student front office rotations.

Perform various administrative duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

At least one (1) year of dental receptionist experience, preferably with familiarity in using dental software.

Proficiency in computer and word processing tasks.

Any equivalent combination of experience, training, or education that meets the minimum qualifications.

Bilingual skills are preferred.

Hiring Range: $16.51-$19.82 per hour.
