Hiring Range: $22.88 – $27.46 per hour

As a Dental Assistant Instructor at our Colorado Springs campus, you will share your mastery of four-handed dentistry and clinical workflows with the next generation. This 12-hour-per-week role is the perfect way to transition your real-world experience into a rewarding teaching career while maintaining your professional flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Instructional Delivery: Design and lead engaging lessons in dental subjects, appealing to various learning styles (visual, tactile, auditory).
- Clinical Supervision: Train students in didactic and clinical four-handed/six-handed dentistry principles, ensuring they meet professional standards.
- Student Success: Evaluate coursework within a 72-hour window and maintain face-to-face office hours to advise and mentor students.
- Externship Support: Supervise student externship experiences and maintain connections with local dental offices and clinics.
- Professional Standards: Participate in faculty meetings, advisory boards, and campus graduations to ensure the program remains at the forefront of the industry.
- Documentation: Manage student files, attendance records, and early alerts with precision.
- Lab assisting and substituting as needed

Minimum Requirements
- Experience: At least two (2) years of occupational (practical) experience in Dental Assisting.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant program OR three (3) years of job-related training for non-graduates.
- Credentials: Must be a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), or a Licensed Dentist.
- State Knowledge: Deep understanding of Colorado state requirements governing dental assisting programs.
- Skills: Proficient in didactic and clinical four-handed/six-handed dentistry.
Compensation & Benefits
