Hiring Range: $20.80 – $24.96 per hour

Are you a natural matchmaker who loves seeing people succeed? As a Career Services Advisor, you are the bridge between Pima Medical Institute and the Las Vegas healthcare community. Your mission is two-fold: securing high-quality externship sites for our students and advocating for our graduates to ensure they land their first professional medical role. This is a fast-paced, consultative role that combines sales, recruitment, and student mentorship.
Key Responsibilities

Market Development: Proactively acquire new externship and employment sites via cold calling, direct telephone sales, networking with professional associations, and leveraging alumni connections.

Student Placement: Pair students with the optimum externship site based on skill assessments and instructor feedback; coordinate interviews and finalize site assignments with supervisors.

Clinical Monitoring: Conduct site visits to monitor student progress, facilitate midterm/final evaluations, and collaborate with site supervisors to resolve any challenges.

Career Coaching: Lead workshops on resume/cover letter writing, interview techniques, and "soft skills" improvement.

Administrative Compliance: Ensure all requisite documentation (background checks, drug screens, CPR/OSHA/HIPAA certifications, and immunizations) is 100% complete before placement.

Data Integrity: Daily entry of student attendance, employer contact logs, and placement verification in Campus Nexus.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Two (2) years of recruitment, staffing, or high-volume sales experience.

Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree preferred.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Tech-Savvy: Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and video-conferencing tools.
