The Education Business Development Manager professional drives Pima Medical Institute’s business growth through strategic partnerships, identifying and nurturing new client relationships, and expanding PMI’s market presence in Distance Learning. The Education Business Development Manager is responsible for designing and implementing practical business development strategies tailored to healthcare institutions and corporate entities' unique needs. Collaboration with the product development and marketing teams is pivotal to align PMI educational offerings with market demand while ensuring that our training solutions effectively meet the needs of our diverse healthcare clientele.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Identify and target potential clients in the education and healthcare sectors to establish new business opportunities.
  • Develop and enhance strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions and corporate clients to drive revenue growth and market presence.
  • Create and execute business development strategies to achieve sales goals and expand market reach.
  • Actively generate new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and social media.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth within the distance learning and healthcare industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with client needs and market demands.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, showcasing our training solutions and their benefits.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring sales targets and objectives are achieved.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote PMI’s educational offerings and generate leads.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Significant travel is required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business development activities.
  • Additional related duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the Distance Learning or education sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Distance Learning landscape, including emerging trends and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships and client relationships.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Proficient with Google Workplace, Microsoft Office, and other computer applications.
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, or experience that meets the minimum qualifications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Marketing, or a related field.
