The Admissions Support Center (ASC) specialist, working in a fast paced and dynamic environment, is responsible for supporting PMI’s branch campuses by setting appointments for prospective students to discuss their education objectives.

Admissions Support Center Specialist (Full-Time)

Location: Remote / Corporate Support Center | On-Site or Remote

Type: Full-Time | FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Alternating Fridays & Saturdays

Department: Support Center / Admissions

Compensation: $17.84 – $21.40 per hour

In this role, you will be the friendly voice on the other end of the line, connecting with prospective students and their families to guide them toward their educational goals. If you can combine empathetic customer service with active listening to help set appointments and remove barriers for future healthcare professionals, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Student Engagement & Communication:

  • Connect with Compassion: Answer incoming calls and place outgoing calls to engage with prospective students and their families, using an empathetic approach to answer questions and schedule appointments to meet with an Admissions Representative.

  • Be the Voice: Provide accurate, supportive solutions regarding school programs, policies, and admissions processes; reschedule appointments as necessary to keep students on track.

  • Outreach & Follow-Up: Contact no-shows to encourage rescheduling; distribute and mail program information or bulk mailings to prospective applicants.

Systems & Calendar Management:

  • Calendar Accuracy: Maintain campus admissions calendars to ensure seamless appointment scheduling for campus teams.

  • Lead Tracking: Add new leads into the student contact management system; maintain meticulous computer records of all calls, inquiries, and interactions.

  • Reporting & Collaboration: Review weekly and monthly reports for leads, appointments, interviews, and enrollments; collaborate with call center peers to continuously refine customer service standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of call center, administrative, or customer service experience.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with a patient, customer-centric phone presence.

  • Equivalent Qualification: An equivalent combination of training, education, or relevant customer service experience that meets the minimum qualifications will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior sales, admissions, or higher education experience.

  • Practical experience using a lead management system or contact management database (CRM).
